Role Description The Vice President Business Analytics is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the analytics strategy and execution across Cool Solar Energy. This role oversees the development of dashboards, reports, and models that inform executive decision-making, operational improvements, and long-term strategic planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding business analysis initiatives, collaborating with finance, sales, and project teams to interpret performance metrics, and ensuring data quality and governance standards are met. The Vice President Business Analytics will manage an analytics team, prioritize projects, and translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership. This position also drives continuous improvement in analytics tools, processes, and methodologies to support scalable growth and profitability.

Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.
Proficiency in finance-related analytics, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and ROI evaluation.
Expertise in business analysis, with a track record of translating data into actionable business strategies and process improvements.
Demonstrated project management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives, setting priorities, and delivering on deadlines.
Experience working with sales teams to develop performance metrics, pipeline analytics, and revenue optimization insights.
Proven leadership experience managing analytics or data-focused teams in a corporate environment.
Advanced skills in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar), and familiarity with SQL or other query languages.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
Experience in the energy, utilities, or technology sectors is beneficial, along with a strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
