The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join MetLife’s Global Internal Audit organization at a pivotal moment. Data and artificial intelligence are central to MetLife’s strategy, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring these capabilities are used responsibly, ethically, and effectively.
As Lead Auditor – Data & AI, you will deliver independent assurance over some of the company’s most important and innovative initiatives, working closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams across the enterprise. You will help advance how Internal Audit approaches emerging risks, modernize audit techniques, and influence how governance keeps pace with technology.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to combine technical expertise, risk mindset, and strategic impact—while helping shape the future of responsible data and AI across a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support risk assessments and development of audit plans for data and AI governance areas.
- Lead and support audits, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and managing issues to closure via collaboration with audit teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify audit issues, present findings, and recommend improvements to reduce risks.
- Prepare clear and concise audit deliverables that support audit conclusions and meet quality standards.
- Stay updated on data and AI trends, technologies, and regulations, applying insights to audit engagements and supporting the education of data and AI risks and controls to audit teams.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in auditing, consulting, or implementing data and AI solutions.
- Understanding of data and AI concepts, principles, techniques, and tools, such as data governance, data quality, data security, data privacy, AI governance, AI risk management, AI explainability, and AI performance.
- Clear written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey audit findings and recommendations effectively.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple audit engagements and deliver high-quality results within deadlines and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment with evolving changes.
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to serve as a senior contributor within an active equity investment platform, with direct responsibility for generating differentiated fundamental insights and influencing portfolio construction and outcomes. As a Director, Equity Research Analyst, you will lead coverage of assigned sectors and companies, originate high‑conviction investment ideas, and partner closely with portfolio managers to drive risk‑aware, return‑focused decision‑making. The position combines deep analytical rigor with strategic judgment, providing visibility, accountability, and impact across the investment process from idea generation through portfolio implementation. You will operate in a highly collaborative, performance‑driven environment that values independent thinking, disciplined risk management, and long‑term stewardship of client capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze industry and company fundamentals within assigned industries and sectors
- Monitor and assess industry and company weightings within the portfolio for assigned industries and sectors
- Frequently screen coverage universe to create an opportunity set of investable candidates
- Assess and determine the value and return potential of current and proposed holdings
- Presentation (written and verbal) of investment recommendations for potential inclusion into portfolios
- Make recommendations to eliminate current investment and/or reallocate investment resources to other alternatives within the respective coverage area
- Attendance of company and broker-sponsored meetings and conferences
- Interview company management to assess the potential of investment opportunities
- Actively follow 20-40 securities with secondary coverage of additional names
- In addition, the position may involve presentations to clients, consultants, and prospects to help communicate the firm’s investment philosophy, investment process, and portfolio results.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of fundamental research experience and possess an MBA and/or CFA designation.
- Knowledge of the small and SMID cap equity universe along with the ability to identify strong potential investment candidates is essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary The ability and desire to work in a high-performance atmosphere employing a team-oriented philosophy is critical
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing companies in Consumer sector with a demonstrated record of success is preferred
- Incremental experience covering other sectors with a demonstrated record of success will be considered
