Senior Python Data Tool Developer (Product Development)

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Python Data Tool Developer to design, build, and operationalize scalable data solutions that drive business outcomes. • Title - Senior Python Data Tool Developer (Platform & Tooling Focus)
• Duration – 3 to 6 months Contract-to-Hire
• 100% Remote role

The ideal candidate has a strong balance of open-source development and commercial data platform experience, leveraging technologies such as Python, AWS (EC2 and cloud-native services), APIs, and automation frameworks, while also utilizing tools such as Fivetran, dbt, and modern data integration platforms. This individual will be responsible for evaluating the best implementation approach, developing robust solutions, and ensuring operational excellence through monitoring, reliability, and scalability.

Key Skills:

• Data architecture, modeling, and pipeline design leveraging Snowflake and other SaaS technologies.
• Strong Product Development Experience.
• Python development and automation
• Python development and automation, built internal Python libraries
• API integration and service-based architectures
• AWS/cloud-native data solutions (EC2, storage, compute, orchestration)
• Modern ELT/ETL tooling (Fivetran, dbt, etc.)
• Production operations, observability, and performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on delivering and operationalizing enterprise-grade data products and platforms.
