Aquent is partnering with a globally recognized leader in technology, dedicated to empowering organizations worldwide with innovative solutions. This company is at the forefront of developing powerful platforms that streamline complex operations and foster collaboration across diverse teams. Join us in shaping the future of enterprise technology, where your contributions will directly impact how global organizations operate.

Are you a passionate Full-Stack Engineer eager to make a significant impact on how organizations manage and understand their data? We are thrilled to offer an opportunity to build the core Data Experience for a cutting-edge developer portal product, a critical tool used by companies around the globe. This is your chance to transform complex data-platform capabilities into intuitive, coherent product experiences that empower data teams to discover, understand, and manage their data with unprecedented ease. Your work will directly influence how customers interact with vital data context, helping them respond faster and more effectively when issues arise. If you thrive on solving challenging problems across the full stack and are driven by the desire to deliver impactful solutions, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Build end-to-end product experiences using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, connecting intuitive interfaces to reliable backend services and APIs.
  • Develop and evolve integrations with data warehouses, transformation tools, workflow orchestrators, and source-control systems, enabling customers to progressively bring richer data context into the developer portal.
  • Create experiences that seamlessly connect metadata, lineage, ownership, and workflow activity, helping customers understand the health of their data and the impact of failures without moving between several tools.
  • Work directly with customers and internal data practitioners to deeply understand their workflows, test assumptions, and translate successful use cases into reusable product capabilities.
  • Own work throughout its entire lifecycle: from discovery and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
  • Make thoughtful tradeoffs between near-term delivery goals and the long-term scalability, reliability, and maintainability expected of an enterprise-grade product.
  • Collaborate effectively across the developer portal team and data platform teams, contributing to technical direction while fostering a consistent and cohesive experience across the wider product ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience building modern web applications with TypeScript and React, coupled with expertise in developing backend services or APIs using Node.js.
  • Comfort and proficiency working across frontend, backend, and integration boundaries, with the ability to drive progress even when problems span multiple layers of the stack.
  • Experience working with external APIs, asynchronous systems, or complex data integrations, demonstrating an understanding of how to design for imperfect inputs, evolving schemas, and operational failure scenarios.
  • A solid understanding of data platform concepts such as metadata, lineage, transformation, orchestration, data quality, and governance.
  • An approach to engineering that prioritizes product development: a strong desire to understand customer problems, test assumptions, and leverage learnings to continuously improve both the solution and the strategic plan.
  • Sound technical judgment, clear communication of your reasoning, and an open mind to feedback and new information.
  • A strong sense of ownership for the software you ship, with a commitment to testing, observability, maintainability, and enhancing the experience of customers who depend on your work.
  • Effective collaboration skills, enabling successful partnership with engineers, product managers, designers, customer-facing teams, and customers within a dynamic B2B product environment.
