# Remote Machine Learning Engineer

## About the Role

Spotter Labs Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help build and improve AI-powered products. This role focuses on working with large datasets, developing and evaluating machine learning models, and collaborating with software engineers to bring ML solutions into production.

The position is well suited for someone who enjoys solving practical problems with machine learning and wants hands-on experience building real-world AI applications in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

## Key Responsibilities

  • * Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
  • * Prepare, clean, and analyze datasets for model training.
  • * Experiment with different approaches to improve model performance.
  • * Test and optimize machine learning solutions for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • * Deploy and maintain machine learning models in production environments.
  • * Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML solutions into products.
  • * Monitor production model performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • * Maintain clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
  • * Stay current with emerging machine learning techniques, tools, and technologies.
  • * Contribute to practical AI solutions and real-world product development.

## Required Qualifications

  • * 1+ year of experience in machine learning, software engineering, data science, or a related technical role, or strong personal projects demonstrating machine learning skills.
  • * Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • * Experience with Python.
  • * Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • * Comfortable working with data.
  • * Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
  • * Familiarity with Git.
  • * Strong problem-solving skills.
  • * Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • * Passion for learning and building AI solutions.

## Preferred Qualifications

  • * Experience working with large language models (LLMs).
  • * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • * Familiarity with SQL.
  • * Experience deploying machine learning models.
  • * Personal AI or machine learning projects.
  • * Open-source contributions related to artificial intelligence or machine learning.
  • * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
