## About the Company

Jobot Consulting is supporting a leading West Coast-based healthcare system seeking a Machine Learning Engineer consultant for a long-term remote engagement.

## About the Role

The Machine Learning Engineer will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade machine learning systems in a healthcare environment. The role focuses on end-to-end ML lifecycle management, scalable ML infrastructure, AI pipeline development, CI/CD automation, model monitoring, security, compliance, and MLOps. The position requires healthcare and EHR experience and is open to candidates residing in PST, MST, or CST time zones.

## Qualifications

• * 3+ years of relevant Machine Learning Engineer experience
• * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Informatics, or a closely related field
• * Master’s degree preferred
• * Experience in healthcare and Electronic Health Record (EHR) environments
• * Understanding of healthcare regulations and standards
• * Experience managing the end-to-end ML lifecycle
• * Experience with Terraform automation
• * Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• * Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• * Programming experience with Python, R, and SQL
• * Strong understanding of coding, architecture, and deployment processes
• * Strong understanding of critical performance metrics
• * Experience with predictive modeling, LLMs, and NLP
• * Ability to explain the advantages and applications of RAG frameworks with LLMs
• * Machine Learning certifications are a plus
