The Client Reporting & Analytics Specialist is responsible for delivering analytical reports, dashboards, and strategic insights to enterprise healthcare clients. This role transforms complex clinical, operational, financial, and engagement data into meaningful business insights that demonstrate program performance and support informed decision-making. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Data & Analytics, to develop scalable reporting solutions and communicate value to a diverse range of stakeholders.
This role requires a hands-on analytics professional who is comfortable working with large healthcare datasets, building visualizations, conducting ad hoc analyses, and presenting findings to executive and client audiences.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports highlighting clinical outcomes, utilization patterns, engagement trends, operational performance, and financial metrics.
- Leverage existing data sources, reporting platforms, and dashboards to prepare client-facing reports and respond to custom analytical requests.
- Translate complex healthcare and operational data into clear, actionable insights for executive and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Clinical Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to support executive business reviews, strategic planning discussions, and ongoing client performance evaluations.
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to define reporting requirements, validate data quality, and ensure consistency across reporting deliverables.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop value measurement frameworks across multiple client segments, including financial, operational, clinical, and engagement metrics.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar visualization platforms.
- Contribute to the development of scalable reporting templates, automated reporting processes, and standardized analytics frameworks.
- Perform hands-on data exploration and ad hoc analysis using cloud-based data platforms to answer client-specific questions, identify trends, and validate reporting accuracy.
- Present dashboards and analytical findings during executive client meetings, effectively communicating complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct population segmentation, cohort analysis, and trend analysis to identify utilization patterns, high-risk populations, engagement opportunities, and outcome improvements.
- Develop customized analytics packages that include demographic insights, utilization trends, clinical performance indicators, program outcomes, and value realization metrics.
- Document reporting methodologies, data definitions, and best practices to support consistent reporting standards and continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or another quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, client reporting, data consulting, or related analytical roles.
- Strong understanding of healthcare performance metrics, quality measures, utilization reporting, clinical outcomes, financial analytics, and operational KPIs.
- Experience working with healthcare datasets, including electronic health records (EHR), medical claims, pharmacy claims, population health, or digital health data.
- Experience presenting analytical findings to enterprise clients, executive stakeholders, or cross-functional leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting healthcare organizations, payer organizations, provider networks, employer-sponsored healthcare programs, or other enterprise healthcare clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
- Experience designing scalable reporting frameworks and standardized client reporting solutions.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib) for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience with healthcare program evaluation, outcomes measurement, or quality improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with population health management, value-based care, care management, or healthcare technology solutions.
- Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations and data governance standards, including HIPAA.
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake or similar platforms.
- Exposure to statistical analysis tools such as R or Python.
- Experience automating reporting workflows and developing self-service analytics solutions.
