Business Intelligence Developer

• Role: MSBI Developer
• Location: NYC
• Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Design and develop SSRS reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Design and maintain Data Warehouses (DWH) and data marts.
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, fact and dimension tables.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading from multiple sources.
• Optimize SQL queries, SSIS packages, and database performance.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, data quality issues, and reporting problems.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Participate in deployment, testing, documentation, and production support activities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.
