What you will do

• Design, build, and operate production REST APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Async Python.
• Develop and maintain scalable search platforms using Elasticsearch, including query DSL, relevance tuning, mapping design, and search optimization.
• Implement event-driven architectures and data engineering pipelines using Apache Kafka, Confluent Cloud, and Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake).
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services such as Azure App Services, Linux VMs, Container Apps/AKS, Managed Identity, Key Vault, Storage, Monitor, and Event Hub.
• Manage data ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, and database operations for PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Execute DevOps practices using Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi).
• Troubleshoot production systems, address performance issues, and ensure the stability of distributed systems and microservices.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience in Python.
• Proven experience designing and operating production REST APIs.
• Strong experience with Elasticsearch in production environments.
• Experience building scalable search platforms.
• Experience with Kafka or enterprise event-streaming platforms.
• Experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
