Applied ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build production LLM systems for real customers
• Develop agent orchestration, tool use, and retrieval mechanisms
• Implement evaluation strategies for AI products
• Engineer model-side solutions for trustworthiness in finance and enterprise
• Work on teams defining the current AI wave

Requirements

• Ship LLM-powered products that real people used
• Own the model side of LLM systems
• Understand the difference between a wrapper and a system
• Possess strong engineering fundamentals
• 3 to 10 years in software or ML engineering
• At least two years with production LLM systems

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript or Go
• Experience with agent systems in production
• Familiarity with fine-tuning, distillation, or inference optimization
• Links to agentic projects built
