- The Role
- Our client seeks a motivated individual to join their Portfolio Management Operations team. This position involves supporting worldwide trading activities across diverse asset classes, ensuring precise trade execution, and working closely with both internal teams and external collaborators.
- Responsibilities
- Manage the entire trade process from execution to settlement for various asset classes.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to trading workflows, allocations, bookings, pricing, and settlements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to tackle operational challenges.
- Support daily operations, controls, and end-of-day procedures, including corporate actions and FX activities.
- Oversee and troubleshoot systems across proprietary and third-party trading platforms.
- Investigate trade discrepancies, booking differences, and execution issues, providing analysis and solutions.
- Contribute to process enhancements and automation initiatives.
- Utilize tools like Excel and SQL for data reconciliation and issue investigation.
- Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment operations, trading support, or financial markets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg Terminal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred
- Experience with SQL or similar database-query languages.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages for automation.
- Knowledge of OMS, EMS, or comparable trading platforms.
- Understanding of systems like FlexTrade, Adroit, Geneva, CTM, Traiana, or similar.
- Experience with multiple asset classes and broker-custodian interactions.
