- Role Description The System Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pensacola Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for analyzing and improving clinical and administrative information systems to support efficient, patient-centered care. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and documenting business requirements, translating operational needs into technical solutions, and collaborating with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to optimize workflows. The System Analyst will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors for upgrades or fixes, and assist with testing, implementation, and user training. The role also includes creating and maintaining system documentation, ensuring data integrity and security, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the practice.
- Qualifications
- Strong systems analysis capabilities, including experience with Systems Analysis and Business Analysis to translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions that enhance clinical and operational workflows.
- Solid foundation in Information Technology, including familiarity with healthcare IT systems, EHRs, databases, and system integration concepts.
- Proven Troubleshooting skills to diagnose system issues, resolve technical problems, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clinicians, staff, and technical teams in a multi-specialty environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in healthcare or medical practice environments is highly beneficial; familiarity with regulatory and data privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
