Senior Financial Analyst

• Position Summary
• A financial institution is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work closely with the CFO across budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and management analysis. This is a highly visible role for someone who understands banking operations and can translate financial data into clear, decision-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Analyze financial performance, variances, trends, and key business drivers.
• Develop financial models and management reports for the CFO.
• Support strategic planning and executive-level decision-making.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Partner with accounting and business leaders to gather and validate financial information.
• Improve reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy.
• Prepare presentations and ad hoc financial analyses for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Financial analysis experience within banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
