- At Interfell, we are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join a U.S.-based client on a challenging global Data project.
- Work Modality: 100% remote, based in the United States. Advanced/fluent English required.
- Compensation: To be negotiated based on experience and profile.
- Contract: Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension or renewal depending on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and document needs for the development of dashboards and performance indicators.
- Translate non-technical requirements into KPIs and dashboard specifications.
- Identify gaps in clients' data and propose actions to improve data quality.
- Design and build ROLAP and MOLAP models (star and snowflake schemas) and relational models using Azure SQL Database, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Implement reporting architectures with Analysis Services, including dynamic hierarchies and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Operate data storage solutions (Data Warehouse, Data Lake) following best practices.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and performance indicators using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker, leveraging advanced DAX, M Language, and Paginated Reports.
- Manage and govern dashboards published in Power BI Service, ensuring quality, security, and consistency.
- Integrate heterogeneous data sources (SQL, APIs, SharePoint, flat files) into the analytical model using Azure Data Factory and Power Automate.
- Develop supporting analytical applications using Power Apps.
- Optimize tabular model performance, SQL queries, Power BI refresh times, and DAX calculations.
- Document data models, developments, and solutions using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients in the Business Intelligence area, leading consultative discussions with a high degree of autonomy.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, continuity, cross-selling, and upselling, and communicate them to the Account Manager.
- Monitor role-specific performance indicators, including operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, certification rate, and other relevant KPIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer.
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating data warehouses.
- 4+ years of experience working with DAX.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL.
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
- 3+ years of experience with Databricks.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
