Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst Supply Chain Procurement – Marine and Terminals will support the ETP Supply Chain Procurement Team in managing and executing Marine and Terminals category management strategies including implementation for all Marine sub-categories, including Barge / Regional Marine and Ocean transportation services as well as Terminal Storage services for America for finished goods, manufacturing and raw materials/feedstocks.

  • The Sr. Analyst is responsible for executing procurement practices that align with the ETPW Global Procurement Policy, ETPW Business Unit Procurement Procedures, Code of Ethics, EHSS requirements, Sustainability requirements, and Quality Management Systems, while delivering maximum value for the Company.
  • Job Responsibilities
  • Support ETP Marine category manager/specialist in global (AMR and EUR) marine RFXs, pricing analysis, and implementation of suppliers and logistics services to maximize customer service levels and value creation
  • Management of regional RFXs and quotations, including day-to-day spot and budgetary quotes
  • Develop and maintain accurate marine lanes and rates, all contract summaries and pricing sheets in category
  • Designs, implements and drives analysis for category to support investigation of network optimization opportunities
  • Enter and manage new regional supplier requests and vendor master changes
  • Enter and maintain contracts in SAP and master data maintenance as applicable; serve as the buyer for the AMR team
  • Calculate, analyze and report volume trends, savings and value creation
  • Obtain and analyze KPIs, spend, and other reports from suppliers and SAP
  • Develop and publish monthly Team metrics reports, market intelligence summary reports, benchmarking reports, and other required reports
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for periodical management information and sourcing projects
  • Develop and maintain regional processes and procedure documentation
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Effectively communicate with logistics providers, carriers and internal stakeholders
  • Resolve contractual and service issues with logistics providers
  • Other activities and duties as assigned
  • Job Requirements
  • Master Degree, preferably in Economics / Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Bachelor degree plus extensive relevant training and experience.
  • More than 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing and contracting of Marine Logistics Services and Terminal Services, with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in directly managing the procurement of Barge and Ocean transportation services, including sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier management in the Americas. Note: Ocean Transportation procurement experience is required.
  • Demonstrated expert negotiation skills, people management skills, analytical skills, change management, cultural awareness, and style flexibility.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) across all business levels, sites, cross-national and cross-functional organizations.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision quality.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong SAP experience, with Ariba experience preferred.
  • Experience in database development preferred.
