Senior Business Analyst

• Job Function
• The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting relevant stakeholders by contributing business insights throughout the business solution planning, development, and testing activities. Lead requirements gathering and testing activities in collaboration with the team to ensure all relevant stakeholder requirements are captured and acceptance criteria is satisfied before passing the code of the business solution. Support the team with activities such as code item creation and iteration and backlog management.

• nWork with the team and relevant stakeholders to support requirements delivery including planning, workshop facilitation, requirements documentation and stakeholder management in accordance with the best practices and quality standards set forth by the BA CoE (Center of Excellence)
• .Support requirements gathering in collaboration with the team to ensure all business requirements and business decisions are captured; work with relevant stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements as required. Discuss business requirements with the team to ensure a clear and complete understanding and validate alignment to business strategies, priorities and target benefits
• .Participate in identifying, verifying, and documenting business and functional requirements using the appropriate requirements management methodology, tools and templates
• .Support the team with activities such as use case development, product backlog management including prioritization, tracking and documentation
• .Assist in the RFP process by contributing to requirements documentation, vendor evaluation criteria, and solution comparison analysis
• .Interface between the team and relevant stakeholders to enable the required coordination and collaboration. Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders, actively managing expectations and monitoring
• .Provide a uniform approach for capturing and actioning on user feedback
• .Identify and resolve gaps between business processes and supporting applications. Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure process compliance with established quality standards
• .Conceptualize and document integrated business processes and relate them to the IT platforms used by relevant stakeholders to accomplish their work programs
• .Coordinate testing activities in collaboration with the team to ensure all testing activities are complete, user feedback is captured and incorporated, and acceptance criteria is satisfied before passing the code of the business solution
• .Analyze and research relevant new and existing products and procedures
• .Facilitation workshops and documenting process flows

• .Experienc
• e10+ Years of experience in a Business Analysis rol
• eRequires experience working with Business & IT teams; ability to work independently, take initiative, solve complex problems, customer and timeline driven, adapt to changing environments, and work collaboratively in a team environment
• .Experience participating in RFP processes, including requirements definition and vendor evaluation, is an asset
• .Experience in user experience design would be an asset. Requires effective written and verbal communication skills including facilitation
• .Requires experience in the Business domain with project management including basic knowledge of project tracking, reporting, estimation and planning. Require advanced proficiency in business needs analysis and strategy and business relationship management
• .Experience with business process management would be considered an asset
• .Experience working on complex technology transformation projects would be considered an asset
• .This is a Hybrid role, requiring the contractor to be on site 2 days per week at the Downtown Toronto office and 1 day per week at the Markham office
