The Specialist, Digital Product Analyst Will

  • Collaborate with the Digital Member Hub (DMH) Product Team and peers to support product impact analysis across core capabilities such as Login, Registration, Preferences, and other related activities.
  • Contribute to product measurement and reporting, VOC analysis, and trend monitoring. Provides actionable insights to help inform day-to-day product decisions, ensuring the health and performance of DMH features.

The strong preference for this role is to be hybrid to the Columbus, OH offices but remote considerations will be made.

This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

As a Specialist, Digital Product Analyst, you'll collaborate with and coordinate efforts across an agile team responsible for creating digital products and solutions that are practical and usable. You'll use research and industry/competitive analysis to prototype and test products.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts detail customer and product impact analysis for a single product, experience and/or line of business. Typically provides analysis and data to the Product Owner to assist with prioritization and decision making.
  • Participates in usability research and reviews results with Digital Product Managers and/Owners. Provides input to User Experience team in the development of wireframes and prototypes.
  • Conducts competitive analysis on customer digital product landscape and business segment specific competitors at the direction of the Product Manager or Product Owner. Provides results for others to review and use.
  • Conducts current state business landscape analysis including people, process, technology assessments, plus future state business analysis. Provides findings to Product Manager and/or Product Owner and agile team.
  • Keeps up on the latest digital trends as well as customer needs and behaviors.
  • Works with the Digital Product Owner to detail and deliver requirement artifacts.

May Perform Other Responsibilities As Assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director, Digital Product Management. This is an individual contributor role.

Typical Skills And Experiences

Education: Undergraduate studies in business administration, user experience, process engineering or related subject matter.

Experience: Typically, five or more years of demonstrated experience in conducting discovery and analysis activities for customer-facing digital solutions. Proven experience with agile delivery methodologies and product management/owner principles a plus.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus. Proven understanding of internet technologies and website management. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and present findings concisely and effectively. Ability to work in a matrix environment and take direction from multiple sources. Able to set work priorities, timeframes and accomplish a task in the most effective manner.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.

The national salary range for Specialist, Digital Product Analyst : $95,500.00-$177,500.00

The expected starting salary range for Specialist, Digital Product Analyst : $95,500.00 - $143,500.00
