- Title: Sourcing Analyst
- Location: Malvern, PA 19355 (Hybrid)
- Duration: 6-Month Contract
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Job Summary:
- One of our clients is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to support its Enterprise Supply Management team. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, contracting, or business operations who enjoys building relationships, understanding business needs, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- The Sourcing Analyst will lead sourcing activities of low to medium complexity, partner with business teams and suppliers, support contract negotiations and reviews, and help identify opportunities to improve cost, processes, supplier relationships, and overall business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead low- and medium-complexity sourcing transactions based on business needs and requirements.
- Facilitate discussions with business leaders and suppliers regarding relationships, costs, capabilities, and commercial considerations.
- Drive sourcing engagements through established procurement processes and resolve issues by engaging the appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing teams, business owners, Legal, Risk, and other cross-functional partners.
- Participate in strategic vendor-related initiatives and provide relationship and project management support.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, approvals, and collaboration throughout procurement activities.
- Interpret and communicate contract requirements, obligations, commercial terms, and potential risk exposures to sourcing professionals and business leaders.
- Support contract reviews, approvals, and negotiations while ensuring appropriate stakeholder involvement.
- Promote compliance with sourcing and procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
- Educate stakeholders on commercial, legal, policy, and other considerations relevant to sourcing and negotiation activities.
- Identify and execute value-creation opportunities through supplier consolidation, demand management, benchmarking, process optimization, and innovation partnerships.
- Ensure supplier and contract information is accurately entered and maintained in relevant management systems and databases.
- Proactively identify potential vendor alternatives and monitor contract timelines.
- Support adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and established sourcing standards.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related professional experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, contracting, business operations, or a related field.
- Experience working with IT software and/or hardware.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, or sourcing activities simultaneously.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
