  • Role Description
  • The Software Tester / QA Analyst / Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications throughout the development lifecycle. This role focuses on testing software products, identifying defects, validating requirements, and implementing automation solutions that help deliver high-quality applications.
  • You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for web, mobile, desktop, and backend systems. The role involves reviewing business requirements and technical specifications to ensure applications function correctly and provide a seamless user experience.
  • A key responsibility is identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to investigate issues, validate fixes, and support successful software releases.
  • This position also involves conducting functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, API testing, performance testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Additionally, you will develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
  • Furthermore, the Software Tester / QA Analyst / Automation Engineer contributes to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes by supporting automated quality checks, improving testing methodologies, and promoting best practices for software quality across development teams.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies
  • Knowledge of manual testing and automation testing practices
  • Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify, document, and manage software defects effectively
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, API, performance, exploratory, and UAT testing
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge for test automation development
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and validate application functionality
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
