Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Software QA Tester / Data Quality Analyst. In this position, you will design and execute test cases, validate software functionality, and identify defects across web and data-driven applications. You will review datasets for accuracy and completeness, investigate data anomalies, and collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure reliable system performance and data integrity. Daily tasks include documenting test results, creating and maintaining QA and data quality standards, and providing clear feedback to stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Execution and Quality Assurance.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Software Quality and Software Quality Assurance practices.
Candidates should possess well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying patterns, issues, and root causes in software and data.
Experience with manual and basic automated testing tools, test case management, and defect tracking systems.
Familiarity with databases, data validation techniques, and basic querying (e.g., SQL) is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Prior experience in QA, data analysis, or a related technical role is preferred; relevant certifications or coursework are a plus.
