Site Analytics & Experimentation Analyst

  • Fleet Farm is looking for a Site Analytics & Experimentation Analyst to help improve how customers experience our ecommerce site. This is a hands-on analytics and optimization role focused on understanding customer behavior, identifying opportunities to improve digital performance, and using experimentation to determine what works.
  • You’ll analyze website performance, customer journeys, search behavior, conversion funnels, and key ecommerce metrics to identify where customers may be experiencing friction or where business performance can improve. You’ll then develop hypotheses, coordinate A/B and multivariate testing, analyze results, and turn those findings into actionable recommendations.
  • This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on Fleet Farm’s growing ecommerce business. You’ll work closely with eCommerce, Digital Product, UX, Merchandising, Marketing, and IT to identify problems, prioritize opportunities, test solutions, and measure results.
  • This is a fully onsite position at Fleet Farm’s Service Support Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose
  • Analyze site performance, search behavior, customer journeys, conversion funnels, and KPI trends to identify where and why customers may be experiencing friction.
  • Monitor ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, revenue per visitor, average order value, bounce rate, engagement, and other customer journey metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, site performance, conversion, and revenue.
  • Hypothesize
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, measurable testing hypotheses.
  • Develop success metrics and measurement approaches based on business objectives.
  • Prioritize testing opportunities based on customer impact and business value.
  • Experiment
  • Plan, coordinate, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across the ecommerce website.
  • Partner with Digital Product, UX, Merchandising, Marketing, and IT to identify and implement testing opportunities.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure tests are properly configured and measured.
  • Support personalization, landing page optimization, search results, and merchandising initiatives through experimentation.
  • Optimize
  • Analyze test results and evaluate statistical validity.
  • Translate findings into clear recommendations for business and digital partners.
  • Build dashboards and recurring reporting to communicate website performance, experiment results, and opportunities.
  • Maintain a testing roadmap and help ensure experimentation efforts remain focused on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Validate tracking, event tagging, and underlying data to ensure digital performance decisions are based on accurate information.
  • Stay current on ecommerce trends, analytics tools, experimentation methodologies, and emerging technologies that can improve digital experiences.
  • What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce analytics, digital analytics, web analytics, conversion rate optimization (CRO), product analytics, experimentation, digital marketing analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing website performance, customer behavior, conversion funnels, or other digital performance data.
  • Understanding of A/B testing principles, experimentation methodologies, and digital performance metrics.
  • Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to translate data and analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience with ecommerce, retail, digital products, or customer-facing websites.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) or digital experimentation.
  • Familiarity with Kibo’s experimentation platform.
  • Familiarity with Builder.io.
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting, event tracking, or digital measurement.
  • Experience partnering with UX, Product, Merchandising, Marketing, or IT teams.
