- Senior Investment Operations Analyst - Private Credit
- A top global asset management firm in Minneapolis, MN, is looking for a Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst to join their team. This role plays a key part in managing the operational functions of the firm's private credit investments. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in private credit operations and a strong eagerness to deepen their expertise in the private credit sector.
- This is a full-time, permanent position offering a base salary of $95,000–$105,000, along with a performance-based bonus. The role follows a hybrid work model in their Minneapolis office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage operational workflows throughout the private credit lifecycle, from deal execution to loan payoff.
- Oversee private credit loan administration, ensuring accurate transaction booking and data management.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the firm and custodian banks for private investments, coordinating closings, settlements, and post-settlement activities.
- Partner with investment and legal teams to facilitate transaction management, deal closings, and amendments.
- Resolve settlement issues, payment discrepancies, and operational challenges by working closely with fund administrators, custodians, and agency teams.
- Support trading teams with security setup, trade compliance, and execution workflows.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and investment guidelines to ensure compliance across multiple asset classes.
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of private market data across internal systems.
- Represent private credit operations in cross-functional projects and firm-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of experience in private credit operations with a deep understanding of the private credit lifecycle.
- Expertise in reviewing private credit loan documents, including credit agreements, amendments, and payoffs.
- Strong technical skills, particularly proficiency in MS Excel and handling large data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, along with strong time management and organizational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
