  • AmeriQual Group is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial planning, analysis, reporting, and decision support for a $400–$500 million food manufacturing organization with three operating locations. This high-impact role develops financial models, analyzes business performance, prepares forecasts and management reporting, and converts complex financial and operational data into actionable insights.

  • Job Purpose
  • The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role partners with operations and leadership to provide data-driven insights, improve financial performance, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, provide variance analysis, compare actuals to budget or forecast and explain key business drivers.
  • Prepare and distribute timely, accurate financial reports and dashboards for plant and corporate leadership, private equity stakeholders, and board meetings.
  • Track product line profitability, analyze margin performance, monitor raw material cost fluctuations, and evaluate plant-level overhead efficiencies.
  • Analyze large datasets from ERP and other systems to support decision-making. Identify trends and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, automate financial workflows, and improve financial visibility across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. MBA or CFA a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of corporate finance, FP&A, or investment banking experience. Experience in food and beverage, manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods industries strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Proficiency with AI tools and automation workflows a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working independently and meeting objectives with minimal supervision
  • Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time; use a computer, keyboard, and mouse regularly; lift and carry light items commonly 10–20 lbs.; read, interpret, and respond to written and digital information; communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via email; and have normal or corrected vision and hearing sufficient for typical office tasks. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits, and other allergens are present.
