- About the Opportunity
- Assist with preparing month end financial statements under IFRS
- Full cycle accounting duties - journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, etc.
- Prepare, reconcile, and maintain asset and liability accounts, ensuring accuracy, IFRS compliance, and timely audit support.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis for operations and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain lease accounting schedules, including ROU assets and lease liabilities, ensuring proper classification and compliance.
- Contribute to internal controls by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and supporting system and workflow improvements.
- About You
- CPA designation (or working toward completion) with strong knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting principles.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or operationally complex environment.
- Proficiency in reconciliations, accounts payable processes, and lease accounting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
