Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical environments. The candidate will be responsible for managing CS-led workstreams and project activities, including both existing initiatives and future programs.
• The ideal candidate will have strong program and project management capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and demonstrated experience managing complex clinical systems initiatives from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead CTMS project management activities for CS-led workstreams and initiatives.
• Manage existing projects and support planning and execution of future clinical systems programs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Utilize Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet for project planning and tracking.
• Identify and manage critical path activities, project dependencies, and potential schedule impacts.
• Proactively identify, flag, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Track project progress and ensure timely follow-through on action items and deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and clinical systems groups.
• Manage project timelines, resources, dependencies, and priorities.
• Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication across multiple workstreams.
• Drive accountability and proactive resolution of project blockers.
• Support governance, documentation, reporting, and project management processes.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Senior Project Manager / Program Manager.
• Hands-on experience with CTMS / Clinical Systems projects.
• Strong Pharmaceutical, Clinical Research, or Life Sciences domain experience.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet.
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical path activities and dependencies.
• Proven ability to proactively identify and flag risks and drive mitigation.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables simultaneously.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Maximum 20 years of total professional experience.
• Must be local to Foster City, CA.
• Independent visa candidates only.

Preferred Background

Candidates coming from Pharma, Biotech, Clinical Research, Life Sciences, Clinical Operations, or Clinical Technology/Systems environments are strongly preferred.
