Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Utility Billing

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are presenting a high-impact opportunity for an experienced business analysis professional to help shape critical technology and process improvements within a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements while identifying solution options, risks, and interdependencies.
• Document current-state and future-state process flows, conduct analytics to identify gaps and abnormal workflows, and create business and functional specifications for complex system implementations.
• Develop testing strategies, prepare user acceptance testing plans, execute test scripts, document results, and support end-to-end testing remediation and progress tracking.
• Complete project support documentation, including procedures, manuals, traceability matrices, implementation tasks, production check-out activities, and archival of related documentation.

Required:

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a senior business analyst capacity.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in business and functional requirements elicitation, translation, and documentation.
• 8 to 10 years of experience facilitating design and use case discussions and working in a Systems Development Life Cycle environment.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in the utility domain within a project setting and in the Customer/1 application, with functional knowledge of the meter to cash life cycle, including billing and net metering.
• Experience working in an IBM mainframe environment (z/OS) and extensive experience using MS Office and Visio.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
