Senior Actuarial Analyst

Oliver James are pleased to be working with an established U.S. health insurer is looking to hire a Senior Actuarial Analyst into its growing actuarial team.

Joining a close-knit actuarial function, you’ll benefit from strong one-to-one mentorship and visibility while gaining broad exposure across pricing, reserving, forecasting, trend analysis and wider actuarial analytics.

Role Requirements

• 2+ years of health actuarial experience
• Strong progress through the SOA exams
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another quantitative discipline
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working with large datasets and actuarial analysis
• Excel proficiency; SQL, R, Python, Tableau or Power BI exposure is advantageous
