  • Company Description OmniPRO builds next-generation payment and data infrastructure that powers instant, transparent value exchange across music, retail, logistics, and civic sectors. The company’s OmniPOS Live platform delivers real-time, smart-contract payout splits in USDC or fiat, eliminating long settlement delays for artists and venues. Its Proof of Performance Protocol connects Web3 technology with the music industry by logging artist data on an immutable ledger to verify royalties with cryptographic certainty. OmniPRO also provides enterprise B2B payment rails, using automated Level 3 data injection to recover lost margins for high-velocity logistics, boutique luxury, and institutional clients. Whether for a high-value jewelry purchase or merchandise at a concert, OmniPRO ensures capital is routed accurately at the moment of transaction.
  • Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Security Analyst role based in Evanston, IL. The Security Analyst will monitor and analyze security events across OmniPRO’s platforms, including payment rails and Web3-integrated systems, to identify anomalies, threats, and potential incidents. Responsibilities include performing vulnerability assessments, supporting application and network security reviews, and collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement secure architectures. The role will involve investigating security alerts, conducting root-cause analysis, documenting findings, and recommending remediation steps. The Security Analyst will also help develop and maintain security policies, run security awareness initiatives, and assist with compliance and governance activities relevant to financial and data-security standards.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Cybersecurity concepts, best practices, and threat landscapes.
  • Experience with Application Security controls, secure SDLC, and reviewing code or configurations for security issues.
  • Hands-on Network Security skills, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and traffic analysis.
  • Proficiency in Malware Analysis and incident response techniques for identifying, containing, and remediating threats.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting logs, correlating security events, and drawing clear, data-driven conclusions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their security services.
  • Understanding of blockchain or Web3 security considerations is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, GSEC, or similar) are preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams on-site.
