We are seeking an experienced SCADA Data Analyst to support the development, commissioning, and optimization of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

This position sits at the intersection of SCADA, data analytics, data engineering, AI, and renewable power generation. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, IT, commissioning, operations, and vendor teams supporting Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS/ESS) facilities.

Please note: This is a remote position requiring approximately 25–30% travel to renewable energy project and commissioning sites.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze SCADA and operational plant data to identify trends, anomalies, performance opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, databases, and data integration solutions supporting SCADA and AI initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, accuracy, and availability across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Develop analytical models and basic machine-learning/AI solutions for renewable energy applications.
  • Create dashboards, visualizations, web applications, and reporting tools.
  • Support SCADA integration, commissioning, startup, testing, and troubleshooting at Solar PV and BESS facilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate data and AI solutions into plant and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Integrate applications with databases, APIs, back-end services, and other data sources.
  • Review SCADA architecture, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, integrators, suppliers, and technical teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Prepare project status reporting and communicate progress, risks, and issues to project leadership.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science, preferably within renewable energy or power generation.
  • Experience working with SCADA, operational technology, or power-plant data.
  • Proficiency with Python, R, Scala, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience developing ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integrations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25–30%.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Utility-scale Solar PV, BESS/ESS, SCADA, plant controls, or power-plant communications.
  • SCADA commissioning, startup, testing, and integration.
  • TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
  • Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kubernetes, or distributed data-processing technologies.
  • REST APIs and web services.
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
  • Data visualization dashboards and interactive applications.
  • Working with EPC contractors, OEMs, SCADA integrators, and technology vendors.
  • Reading SCADA architecture diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
