Job Title: SAP Cutover Lead (Data Migration) – Remote, USA

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Lead to manage and execute end-to-end cutover planning and deployment activities for large-scale SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading SAP cutovers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing complex data migration activities across multiple SAP modules.
This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive successful go-live events while minimizing business disruption.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall SAP Cutover strategy, planning, execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
Develop and maintain detailed cutover plans, runbooks, checklists, and deployment schedules.
Coordinate cutover activities across functional, technical, infrastructure, security, integration, and business teams.
Lead mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, production readiness assessments, and go-live activities.
Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and critical path activities throughout the cutover lifecycle.
Facilitate cutover governance meetings and provide regular status updates to project leadership.
Coordinate system downtime activities and production deployment schedules.
Collaborate with PMO, release management, infrastructure, Basis, security, and business stakeholders.
Ensure rollback and contingency plans are documented and tested.

Data Migration Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end SAP Data Migration activities in partnership with business and technical teams.
Manage data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and production data loads.
Collaborate with Data Migration Leads to ensure successful migration cycles.
Oversee mock conversions and production migration execution.
Validate data quality, completeness, and reconciliation before business signoff.
Support defect resolution during migration testing and go-live.
Ensure compliance with migration governance and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of SAP implementation experience.
5+ years leading SAP Cutover activities on enterprise implementations.
Strong experience with SAP Data Migration and production deployment.
Experience managing multiple cutover cycles including mock cutovers and final production cutover.
Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
Experience in Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Utilities, or Consumer Products.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
Experience with Cloud-based SAP implementations.
PMP, Scrum Master, or SAP certifications are a plus.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has successfully led multiple enterprise SAP go-lives and possesses hands-on experience managing both Cutover and Data Migration workstreams. They excel in coordinating cross-functional teams, mitigating deployment risks, and ensuring seamless production transitions with minimal business disruption. Experience supporting large global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs is highly preferred.
