Job Description:

Returns Analyst

Location: Portland, Oregon (Partial Remote)

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end parts returns process for the dealer network. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of returns, developing and maintaining process documentation, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in a supply chain or logistics function, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete parts returns process for the dealer network.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely return processing.
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
  • Respond to returns inquiries and resolve processing issues.
  • Support internal and external training related to returns processing.
  • Analyze returns data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience and operational performance.
  • Serve as a decision-maker with autonomy in the returns process.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in business or sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.

Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations-related function is necessary. Customer service and cross-functional experience are important.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Strong analytical and data analysis skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or training in Lean principles, waste elimination, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
