Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across business operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently in a remote environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, enter, update, and maintain data from multiple sources.
  • Review datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors.
  • Generate routine reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
  • Organize and manage databases while ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate information.
  • Follow established data governance, security, and privacy policies.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation for data procedures and workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in data entry, data management, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, or CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with data quality assurance practices.
  • Experience using cloud-based collaboration platforms.
