Position: Manual Tester
Location: Downtown Toronto – Hybrid 2 days onsite
Duration: 5 Months Contract with possibility of conversion
Pay: $41/hr INC // $35/hr T4
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Manual QA Tester to support Finance Operations and Data & Analytics projects. The candidate will perform manual testing, validate financial data and reports, and identify data quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
·Execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
·Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
·Validate data integrity and financial reports.
·Use SQL to validate data, transformations, and reconciliations.
·Use Excel for data analysis, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
·Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
·Perform data validation, reconciliation, and regression testing.
·Collaborate with Finance, Data, Development, and business teams.
Must Have:
·3–5 years of Manual QA Testing experience.
·Strong Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
·Intermediate/Advanced SQL.
·Experience with Data Validation, Reconciliation, or ETL/Data Testing.
·Experience testing data-centric applications or financial reporting systems.
·Strong analytical and documentation skills.
·Excellent attention to detail.
