- Role Description
- The QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring software applications meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, performance, and reliability before deployment. This role focuses on testing software products, identifying defects, validating business requirements, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- You will create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and testing procedures to evaluate software across multiple platforms and environments. The role involves reviewing system requirements, analyzing specifications, and ensuring applications perform as intended while delivering a positive user experience.
- A key responsibility is identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to investigate issues, validate fixes, and ensure successful software releases.
- This position also involves conducting functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, exploratory testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). You will contribute to improving testing methodologies, quality processes, and overall product stability.
- In addition, the QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining software excellence by ensuring applications are stable, reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, API, exploratory, and UAT testing
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify, document, and track software defects effectively
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to analyze requirements and validate business processes
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Continuous learning mindset and passion for software quality
