Global Financial Firm located in Irving, TX has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst

Pay Rate Range: $74.00 - $78.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Analyst / Product Owner with a strong background in financial services Risk & Compliance, coupled with a deep understanding of Generative AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex business problems within Risk & Compliance in the financial services industry and identify opportunities for leveraging Generative AI, enterprise data, and services.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluate, propose, and articulate the business value of Generative AI solutions to address specific business needs and drive efficiency.
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Work with enterprise data architects and service owners to ensure solutions are integrated effectively and leverage existing assets.
• Collaborate with IAM and security teams to define requirements for secure authentication, authorization, and access controls.
• Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and cybersecurity experts, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Engage with stakeholders to build consensus, manage expectations, and influence decisions.
• Manage the product backlog, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize features.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive strategic initiatives and product development.
• Analyze existing business processes and application workflows for improvement and optimization.
• Partner closely with developers, architects, and quality assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Product Owner, with a significant portion within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrable domain expertise in Risk & Compliance within financial services.
• Proven experience with Generative AI concepts and applications.
• Solid understanding of enterprise data architectures and data governance.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
• Extensive experience working in Agile environments.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, including managing product backlogs and writing user stories.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse technology teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and forward-thinking.
