We currently have a full time opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst, Capacity & Portfolio Performance. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON.

As a Portfolio Analyst, Capacity & Portfolio Performance with Sobeys, you will:

  • Maintain hygiene of capacity, demand, and allocation data across all CTAO delivery teams to support annual and multi-year planning..
  • Support resource feasibility and Portfolio impact assessments for new initiatives and/or changes to inflight projects by gathering inputs and validating data accuracy.
  • Update and maintain portfolio performance dashboards and KPIs (on‑time delivery, resource utilization, milestone health, etc.).
  • In collaboration with the prioritization and governance team, conduct bottleneck and constraint analysis, surfacing early indicators to key portfolio stakeholders
  • Prepare scenario modelling inputs (resource shifts, deferrals, acceleration options, etc.) to support portfolio planning.
  • Maintain Planview data quality for capacity, demand management, allocations, project /program management, performance metrics, and project/portfolio execution views.
  • Provide data analysis, insights and decision support for governance forums, delivery reviews, and Quarterly ELT updates in partnership with delivery teams regarding status updates, milestone progress and performance indicators in the portfolio platform.
  • Support continuous improvement of capacity models, reporting structures, and data standards.
  • Technology Solutions / Cyber / Data / Advanced Analytics / Operations: resource capacity and constraint information.
  • Resource Managers: Confirm availability, forecast effort, validate /approve allocations, planning accuracy, scenario planning and demand projections,
  • Finance: Collaborate with Prioritization and Governance team to provide inputs for capacity‑driven project cost adjustments and performance reporting.
  • Planview User Community: Enforce data standards, support updates, and maintain portfolio platform accuracy.
  • Project & Program Managers: RAID log, WBS, milestone and planning accuracy to support performance updates, portfolio dashboards and other reporting.

What You Bring

  • Experience leading and developing teams, supporting people through change and driving accountability.
  • Strong background in enterprise portfolio management across business and technology initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with capacity planning and resource management, balancing supply, demand, and timing.
  • Advanced expertise in Planview, including configuration, reporting, workflows, data structures, and governance.
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous or early-stage ideas into structured, actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, including scenario modelling and “what-if” analysis.
  • Experience producing clear, executive-level portfolio reporting.
  • Solid understanding of delivery lifecycles (SDLC, PLC, business change) and how they impact sequencing and capacity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders using data.
