- Role Description This full-time, on-site Pharma Business Analyst role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Pharma Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders in pharmaceutical and life sciences functions to gather, document, and validate business requirements for technology and process initiatives. Responsibilities include analyzing current business processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, and translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams. The role involves preparing workflows, use cases, and user stories; supporting solution design and implementation; and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory, operational, and commercial objectives. The Pharma Business Analyst will also support testing, training, and change management activities, monitor performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for pharma and life sciences business functions.
- Proficiency in Business Analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and present findings clearly.
- Experience with Business Process mapping, optimization, and documentation to support scalable, compliant operations.
- Demonstrated ability to define, manage, and prioritize Business Requirements for technology solutions in regulated environments.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry, preferably with exposure to commercial, clinical, or regulatory processes.
- Familiarity with data analytics or BI tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and basic SQL skills are beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced, global environment.
