In this role, the successful candidate will work with an internal team, as well as external parties to investigate and provide solutions to our best-in-class Client Experience Team which is the ‘go to’ for our Investment Advisor clients. As a member of the Special Projects Team, you will apply your existing financial services industry knowledge and understanding of the ACPI business offering and provide support on a variety of investment operations related topics. We are looking for someone who works calmly in a fast-paced environment and can quickly prioritize and organize the delivery of solutions for internal escalations.

This role will join the Special Projects Team within Aligned Capital Partners Inc. (ACPI, a member of CI Financial) in Burlington, Ontario.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate closely with internal Operations Directors to deliver priority initiatives that drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and elevate the day-to-day client experience
  • Investigative support for Production and User Acceptance Test environments of proprietary systems
  • Investigate, ticket and track issues to resolved state
  • Provide updates with internal teams throughout the resolution process
  • Test development updates to ensure functionality is as expected
  • Interface with Project Teams, developers, and other technical teams, to identify, document and manage the business requirements/specifications for various projects
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Undertake project and support tasks as required
  • Write, update and edit internal guides and training materials for our web-based knowledge platform

What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in the investment, banking or related industries
  • Knowledge of the Canadian investment landscape including an understanding of different accounts and products
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Positive and professional attitude and eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • Team Player with strong organization and communication skills
  • Proven ability to think critically and strategically when dealing with unique inquiries
  • A demonstrated collaborative approach to solving problems
  • Ability/Flexibility to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Having completed industry courses is an asset

This role follows our in‑office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $95,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for participation in a bonus program.
