Role Description The Junior Financial Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role is a part-time, remote position supporting the finance team with day-to-day analytical and reporting tasks. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and management reports, as well as supporting financial planning activities such as budgeting and forecasting. The role involves collecting and organizing financial data, identifying trends and variances, and helping to prepare summaries and presentations for internal stakeholders. The Junior Financial Analyst will also support routine finance operations, such as reconciliations and basic data checks, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines. Collaboration with senior analysts and cross-functional teams is expected to ensure timely and reliable financial insights.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide clear financial insights.
Knowledge of finance fundamentals and experience or coursework in financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting.
Understanding of financial statements and basic financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, basic financial modeling); familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and the ability to follow established processes and controls.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully in a remote environment.
Ability to manage time independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (recent graduates or final-year students encouraged to apply).
Interest in manufacturing or industrial sectors and willingness to learn company-specific financial practices.
