2. About the Opportunity:

The IT Quality Analyst role is focused on ensuring the organization’s software solutions meet rigorous quality standards and deliver excellent user experiences. This position is responsible for testing and validating applications through collaboration with developers and business stakeholders, directly impacting the reliability and effectiveness of critical software systems.

3. Responsibilities:

  • • Conduct thorough testing of software to ensure flawless operation and standards compliance.
  • • Develop and execute automated and manual test scripts for applications.
  • • Review documentation and diagrams to verify functionality and guideline adherence.
  • • Participate in agile team ceremonies as applicable.
  • • Collaborate with programmers and business units to prepare and validate test plans.
  • • Analyze workflows and recommend improvements for future system configurations.
  • • Document testing procedures and results.
  • • Report on problem resolution progress and propose process enhancements.
  • • Perform tasks outside normal hours when necessary to meet business needs.

4. Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • • 2 to 5 years of IT quality assurance experience, including automated testing.
  • • Familiarity with test automation tools like Leapworks preferred.
  • • Experience with agile or scrum methodologies.
  • • Proficiency with PC Windows and mainframe CICS environments.
  • • Solid understanding of IT concepts and QA methodologies.
  • • Knowledge of testing methods such as black box, white box, smoke, and unit testing.
  • • Ability to measure test effectiveness and transparently report results.
  • • Experience using Jira and Confluence for test management and collaboration.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new testing approaches.
  • • Understanding of business processes with an end-user perspective.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • • Pay range: $73,900.00 to $98,500.00 annually.
  • • Compensation is based on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and location.
