Position: IT General Controls (ITGC) Analyst
Location: Lisle, IL – Hybrid (Onsite Monday–Thursday; Remote Friday)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking an experienced IT General Controls (ITGC) Analyst to support IT SOX compliance, IT controls governance, audit coordination, and broader IT risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate recurring ITGC and IT SOX compliance activities.
Manage audit requests, evidence collection, attestations, and follow-ups.
Serve as a liaison between Internal Audit and IT control owners.
Review audit evidence for completeness and audit readiness.
Participate in ITGC walkthroughs and maintain control documentation.
Track control deficiencies, findings, remediation activities, and corrective-action plans.
Support improvements to the Risk and Controls Matrix (RCM).
Help strengthen and mature IT risk and controls governance processes.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of ITGC experience within a SOX-regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of ITGC and SOX compliance.
Experience with User Access Management, Change Management, and Computer Operations controls.
Experience with control testing, audit evidence, and audit coordination.
Understanding of control design and operating effectiveness.
Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and/or ITIL.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Preferred:
CISA or CRISC certification.
Experience maintaining a Risk and Controls Matrix.
Experience building or maturing an IT controls/risk program.
Experience working in environments without an established GRC platform.
