IT Business Analyst

• Job title: IT Business Analyst
• Contract duration: 5 months
• Location: Toronto, ON (3 days onsite)

Description:

• • Define API requirements and integration specifications
• • Document data flows and mappings (source → transformation → target)
• • Translate business pricing rules into technical requirements
• • Work closely with pricing, analytics, and engineering teams
• • Write detailed user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
• • Support UAT, release planning, and production validation

Skills required:

• 10+ years as a Technical Business Analyst in system integration or API programs
• Experience defining API requirements, contracts, and data flows
• Strong skills in data mapping (source → transformation → target)
• Ability to translate business rules into clear technical specifications
• Experience writing detailed functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience in banking, mortgages, or pricing/rate systems
• Familiarity with segmentation models or analytics-driven use cases
• Experience working with data teams (analytics, data science)
• Exposure to API design standards (REST conventions, versioning)
• Experience Supporting UAT and production rollout
