Role Description This part-time remote Investment Analyst role focuses on supporting financial decision-making for Bimbo Iberia Corporativa SL’s business initiatives and investments. On a day-to-day basis, the Investment Analyst will perform financial modeling, evaluate investment opportunities, and analyze portfolio performance using quantitative and qualitative data. The role includes preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders, as well as monitoring market trends and industry benchmarks relevant to the Food and Beverages sector. The Investment Analyst will collaborate virtually with finance and business teams to provide insights, recommendations, and scenario analyses that support strategic and operational plans.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to assess investment opportunities and business cases.
Excellent Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving in a financial context.
Proficiency in Financial Modeling, including building and maintaining models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
Experience or interest in Portfolio Management, including monitoring performance, risk assessment, and optimization of investments.
Advanced skills in Excel or other spreadsheet tools; familiarity with business intelligence or analytics software is an advantage.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines for multiple stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA level progress) are a plus.
Knowledge of the Food and Beverages industry or consumer goods sector is beneficial but not required.
