The Inventory and Planning Analyst will support one of the nation's largest operating fleets of wind and solar facilities by optimizing inventory planning, material availability, and ERP data management across multiple sites. Working closely with procurement, operations, and inventory teams, this role helps improve supply chain efficiency, strengthen inventory controls, and ensure critical parts are available to support reliable renewable energy operations.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain optimal min/max inventory levels for multiple sites.
- Drive and implement replenishment strategies to improve inventory efficiency and cash flow.
- Maintain and improve Material Master data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and standardization.
- Coordinate intercompany parts sharing and transfers, managing logistics and warehousing activities.
- Collaborate with IT and Inventory teams to support ERP system updates and master data management.
- Review discrepancies between inventory and revenue, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain inventory reporting standards and KPIs to track levels, shortages, and excess/obsolete materials.
- Support onboarding of new sites, including material setup and training.
- Assist with centralized inventory development, including PIR and Source list management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least one year of inventory management or supply chain experience.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems from an inventory management perspective; SAP S/4Hana and Ariba experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Expertise in warehouse organization and best practices, including kanban and inventory control methods.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret data in limited-information environments.
- Experience in inventory reporting and KPI maintenance.
- Knowledge of renewable energy industry operations is a plus.
