2. About the Opportunity:

The Financial Planning Senior Analyst role supports the budgeting and financial planning processes through monitoring, forecasting, and reporting financial activities. This position contributes to informed decision-making and budget integrity by tracking expenditures, developing financial reports, and coordinating planning efforts.

3. Responsibilities:

  • • Coordinate administration of multiple financial functions and ensure appropriate internal controls.
  • • Monitor and forecast administrative expenditures.
  • • Upload budget information into accounting software for reporting and tracking.
  • • Support the development of the annual budget and organizational process improvement initiatives.
  • • Monitor annual budget compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
  • • Approve and monitor the expenditure of funds.

4. Requirements:

  • • High School Diploma or GED with six years of experience in budgets, general ledgers, and accounting policies; or
  • • Associate’s degree with four years of relevant experience; or
  • • Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience; or
  • • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • • Valid driver’s license.
  • • Residency within North Carolina.
  • • Ability to travel as required within the service area.
  • Preferred:
  • • Master’s degree or five years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • • Experience with D365 Financial & Operations.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $64,927 to $79,905.
