Description:
In this role, the Deliver Financial Analyst will lead streamlined documentation of transition activities across the J&J MedTech organization and the future-state DS Deliver organization. As a direct result of the DS separation, MedTech Deliver responsibilities must be assessed, documented, and re-allocated across the future-state organization. Responsibilities will include supporting all separation-related analysis and completing necessary interim close and forecast activities during organizational design.
The position is open to candidates located in Pennsylvania (Spring House, Horsham, and Malvern) and New Jersey (Raritan and New Brunswick).
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze and articulate Hub Business Financial results.
- Coordinate and execute interim financial closing, reporting, and planning processes accurately.
- Design costs and execute cross-charge allocations between J&J RemainCo and DePuy Synthes.
- Support Hub management teams in proposing actions to mitigate risk or reduce financial impacts.
- Build and use activity-based management models to provide transparency in the evolution of Hub Financials.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business understanding and decision-making.
- Document all interactions with key business stakeholders within the organization (Operations, FP&A teams, Global Services).
- Document the current and future-state EMEA Hubs support model, with emphasis on separation requirements.
- Forecast separation CapEx requirements and incorporate them into the Stage Gate process.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial analytics experience in large organizations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and strong attention to detail.
- Results-driven, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.
- Comfortable dealing with complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and framing skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a virtual, matrix environment across multiple regions.
- Strong process-oriented mindset with a demonstrated record of bringing innovative solutions and ideas to simplify current ways of working.
- Self-driven and highly motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
- Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Supply chain finance experience.
- Experience with automation tools (Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, etc.).
- Experience with TM1 and Anaplan.
