Role Description This is a part-time, remote Financial Analyst role responsible for supporting data-driven decisions across InstaGo’s travel, insurance, and education services. The Financial Analyst will review and analyze financial statements, track key performance indicators, and prepare clear reports and dashboards for leadership. Day-to-day tasks include supporting budgeting and forecasting, evaluating costs and profitability of different offerings, and contributing to financial planning for new initiatives and client programs. The role involves monitoring financial performance, identifying variances or risks, and recommending improvements to pricing, cost efficiency, and resource allocation. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that help deliver impactful, cost-effective experiences for clients.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, including understanding of core financial concepts and best practices.
Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparing and interpreting income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to work with data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; experience with BI tools is a plus).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in financial work.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in travel, hospitality, insurance, or education services is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule.
