About The Role
The Financial Analyst role at Coastal Sunbelt Produce is a vital position responsible for profit management, financial forecasting, and reporting. Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or related roles within the industry or similar sectors.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not mandatory.

- Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the finance manager or CFO in ensuring that overall financial trends and impacts of key initiatives are accurately reflected in forecasts.
- Identify underperforming customers and vendors, analyzing the key drivers of profitability and recommending corrective actions.
- Quantify the financial impact of cost control initiatives and monitor their effectiveness over time.
- Assist local and regional CFOs in the preparation and review of financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBR) and the annual operating plan (AOP) process to align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and expense management to improve overall profitability.
- Maintain ongoing analysis of financial data to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and ensure alignment of financial objectives.
