JOB DESCRIPTION

• Financial Analyst (Securities/Instrument Reference Data)
• Looking for a Financial Analyst to support Securities/Instrument Reference Data operations for a large financial services client in Newark, DE. This is a 6-month contract with potential conversion to full-time based on performance.

• What you’ll do
• Maintain and update security/instrument reference data for equities, fixed income, indexes, and bonds
• Process daily updates (e.g., coupon, rate fixing, factor updates) and manage exceptions/rejects queues
• Research and validate data using market/vendor sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, Euroclear)
• Complete control reports, EOD checks, and checklists and route for reviewer sign-off
• Log and track issues in an issue tracker, escalate when needed, and support process improvements/data clean-up
• Perform operational checks during enhancements/releases to ensure no impact to BAU

• Required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2–3+ years relevant experience (not entry-level)
• Strong knowledge of financial products/instruments (Equity, Fixed Income, Indexes, Bonds)
• Hands-on experience with market data vendors/tools (Bloomberg/ICE/Euroclear; Reuters a plus)
• High attention to detail and strong data accuracy

Preferred

• Automation experience with Alteryx and/or UiPath
• Background in reference data, corporate actions, middle office, trade support, or settlements
