Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Sr Finance Analyst to work on a contract basis. The senior financial analyst will serve as a key analytical partner to the integrated supply chain organization while collaborating closely with the broader finance organization. The position is based in Phoenix, AZ and transitions to a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Manage, analyze, and interpret large volumes of operational, financial, and supply chain data to support business decisions.
  • • Create financial models, interactive dashboards, and automated reporting tools that deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers using statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
  • • Partner with digital finance or enterprise analytics teams to adopt or enhance advanced analytical tools and methodologies.
  • • Work closely with FP&A, vertical finance, site finance, and SBU finance to ensure alignment on reporting, forecasting, and short‑ to mid‑range planning.
  • • Synthesize data across operations, supply chain, and enterprise financial systems to provide unified financial narratives.
  • • Support the development of forecasting processes and variance analysis to improve financial accuracy.
  • • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and decision‑making speed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • • Proven experience in data analytics and insight generation within a complex, multi‑functional environment.
  • • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross‑functional finance teams, including FP&A, site finance, and supply chain finance.
  • • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formula development.
  • • Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP) and digital finance platforms.
  • • Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • • Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis techniques.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
